Some items of literary interest . . .

As with musical interests, I have a very eclectic taste when it comes to english literature. My interests span the works of such authors as D H Lawrence, Anthony Burgess, George Gissing, James Joyce, Jorge Louis Borges, Ian Clayton; and poets - Dylan Thomas, T S Eliot, James P McAuley, R S Thomas, etc..

Of immediate interest, however, are two areas which I can share straight away -
The work of the academic, Richard Hoggart. I have a large collection of Richard Hoggart's books and will be discussing various aspects of these in future posts; and I also collect books under the imprint of the late 19th and early 20th century publisher, Elkin Mathews.
